Adamie Inukpuk, an elder from Inukjuak, is known throughout the world for his lead role in the Claude Massot film “Kabloonak”, inspired by the Robert J. Flaherty film “Nanook of the North”. At 63 years of age, Adamie desires to preserve and passes his knowledge on to generations of younger people interested in qimutsiq. His wish is partially realized with the publication of this manual.
